Consulting and advisory services

TierraMar is synonymous with conservation innovation - helping to protect and manage some of our most fragile and biodiverse regions across Australasia, the Coral Triangle and Pacific.

We are a registered conservation charity and the consulting arm of OceanEarth Foundation. Since 2008 we have been developing and delivering strategic programs that create impact; programs that seek to ensure that sustainable businesses prosper, and that communities thrive through the wise utilisation of natural capital. Balancing profit and purpose.

Our consulting services are underpinned by our four core principles: that our approach is community centred, we adopt a systems-thinking in managing complexity, we draw on the Nature-based Solutions (NbS) Standard framework, and are solutions focused.  all our work aligns with our vision - to support positive environmental and social impact to help halt and reverse nature loss and achieve a net-zero emissions world by 2050.

As consultants we specialised in providing a Global-Regional-Local approach to deliver local outcomes that achieve global and regional program goals, and vice versa. We work across all sectors of society: Global and regional non-government and government agencies, national governments and non-government organisations, private sector, and local communities and community groups.

Our approach is embedded in leveraging the resources and partners that can help us to implement our strategies and achieve our goals. Clients include multilateral agencies, national and state governments, natural resource management and conservation organisations, international conservation and development NGOs, scientific research agencies and universities, Council of Regional Organisations in the Pacific (CROP) agencies, international consulting firms and several international development banks.
