March 12 @ 11:00 am - 11:45 am

Ocean Youth at Climate Action Week

Hear from Ocean Youth Ambassadors about exploring the Deep Ocean alongside Dr Emma Camp, UTS, and her time spent with Dr Sylvia Earle, the world’s most famous female marine scientist.

Learn about the mystery of the deep sea and the critical role it plays in storing carbon, and why the ocean needs healthy coral reefs for its survival.
Video content will take us diving on the Great Barrier Reef, swimming in urban coral reefs in Singapore, and exploring baby coral at feeding time!

This engaging session, which will include a Q&A conversation and a chance for you to ask questions with the youth leaders and Dr Emma Camp. If you are an Ocean Lover and care about the health of our ocean, this is a session for you!

Panellists:

  • Angelique Greentree (16), Isla Campbell (15) – Ocean Youth Ambassadors
  • Dr. Emma Camp (UTS) – Marine Scientist & Coral Researcher
